Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have your family photos taken somewhere crazy? I have. I think about it all the time actually. Ok well not all the time, that would just be weird. However I wonder how cool it would be to get your family portraits taken in a laundromat, or an ice-cream parlour, or The Brisbane Ekka (Royal Queensland Show)? Wonder no more! I can now tick one of those off the bucket list. For a couple of years I have wanted to organise a competition for family photos at the Brisbane Ekka but it just never came about. This year I was determined to make it happen and we did it in style. Fiona, Rob and 2 year old Indie won their family portrait prize and we had a ball. Can you believe Fiona had never been to the Ekka? And of course it was Indie’s first time as well. She was absolutely amazed by everything she saw. It was a beautiful thing to witness a child’s first Ekka experience. She was in awe of all the bright lights, the colours, the bubbles and the animals. Indie is very animated and everywhere we went people would smile.
This was a really cool session with an awesome Brisbane family. If you are interested in an Ekka family portrait session next year, get in touch and we will make something amazing together – 0412 892 480.
