I was hired for this session by my sister-in-law to give the gift of a couple’s session to her mum Leone and Leone’s “new” husband. Noel and Leone have actually been together for years but recently decided to tie the knot, in a secret and very private ceremony late last year. They didn’t have many photos taken at the very private wedding so my sister-in-law had the great idea to get them a gift voucher for a session… a great way to celebrate their recent marriage and mark this special occasion in their lives. After all how often do we decide to get photos of us as just a couple, if any time other than our wedding? Not very often, I know I haven’t.
Leone and Noel picked a beautiful location that is meaningful to them. It is the spot of many camping trips as a family and is just down the road from the place they occasionally call home in their touring caravan. Noel and Leone are grey nomads absolutely living the dream. They have travelled to many parts of Australia earning their way picking fruit. They are hard workers but they also enjoy a laugh and getting together with family and friends in their down-time.
I’m am proud to have them as a part of my extended family and had a great time photographing them at their camping spot right next to Coochin creek.
